Carolynn Clark

Carolynn Clark has been mediating since 2002 and is a Master Mediator and Domestic Mentor on the Utah Court Roster of Mediators. She received her formal training in mediation at the J. Reuben Clark Law School while completing her law degree. After completing a judicial clerkship with the Utah Supreme Court and working for several years as a litigator at the law firm of Ray Quinney & Nebeker in Salt Lake City, Ms. Clark completed a Master of Laws in mediation at Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.

Ms. Clark conducts a mediation practice specializing in the area of divorce, family, probate, and workplace mediation. She has conducted thousands of hours of mediation focusing on family, estate, and workplace issues. Ms. Clark conducts mediations in Salt Lake and Utah County, and in other places around the State of Utah.

In addition to mediating, Ms. Clark previously directed the Conflict Resolution Graduate Certificate Program offered through the University of Utah’s Department of Communication and subsequently the Master of Legal Studies Program at the S.J. Quinney College of Law where she still teaches courses in mediation and conflict resolution. Prior to taking over as director of the Conflict Resolution Program, Ms. Clark instructed and administrated the basic mediation curriculum at the BYU Law School. Ms. Clark is a member of the Utah Judicial Committee for Alternative Dispute Resolution, and is also listed on the professional roster at Utah Dispute Resolution in Salt Lake City where she volunteers her time for low-income clients.
